FY2011

Participated partially in the implementation of the symposium “Corporate Governance: EU and Japan.”

FY2012

Participated partially in the implementation of “EU Asia Corporate Governance Dialogue.” For details, see the Dialogue website at http://www.eacgd.org.

Participated partially in the implementation of the 43rd Comparative Law and Politics Symposium “Roundtable Discussion on Modern Issues about M&As under Corporate and Securities Laws: A Comparative Perspective.”

Participated partially in the implementation of the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Law summer school (FY2012). The summer school presented a class in English on Japanese corporate law as broadly defined (including the legal system for the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act).

FY2013

Held the 1st China Japan Corporate Legal System Research Meeting.
Invited experts from Tsinghua University, Peking University, and other Chinese institutions. Reports and discussions took place in individual sessions on “business transfers,” “share exchanges and share transfers,” “company splits” and other themes.

Participated partially in the implementation of the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Law summer school (FY2013). The summer school presented a class in English regarding the basics of English and American law on the theme “Introduction to American Law.”

FY2014

Held the 2nd China Japan Corporate Legal System Research Meeting.
Invited experts from Tsinghua University (China). Reports and discussions took place in individual sessions on “shareholder lawsuits (including multiplex shareholder lawsuits),” “takeover bids,” “class shares” and other themes.

FY2015

Held the East Asia and Germany International Symposium on Corporate and Capital Market Law on the theme “Issues and Challenges in Corporate and Capital Market Law: Germany and East Asia” with reports from researchers from the four countries Japan, China, South Korea and Germany, and discussions regarding corporate and capital market law in Europe and East Asia.
