Research and Educational Activities

(1) FY2010 Winter Term

Sadakazu Osaki was invited from Nomura Research Institute as a visiting professor and Associate Professor Masakazu Shirai from Tohoku University School of Law was invited as a visiting associate professor, and research and education activities were conducted. In the FY2010 winter term, a class “Financial Instruments and Exchange Act Practice” was presented in English by Professor Hideki Kanda and Visiting Professor Osaki as a joint course with the School of Legal and Political Studies and the Graduate School of Public Policy.

(2) FY2011

Again, Sadakazu Osaki was invited from Nomura Research Institute as a visiting professor and Associate Professor Masakazu Shirai from Tohoku University School of Law was invited as a visiting associate professor, and research and education activities were conducted. During the summer term, Professor Hideki Kanda taught “Global Securities Markets Law 1” in English and Professor Hiroyuki Kansaku taught “Comparative Securities Markets Law 1.” During the summer term, Visiting Professor Osaki taught “Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” as a joint course with the School of Legal and Political Studies and the Graduate School of Public Policy.

During the winter term, Visiting Professor Osaki taught “Global Securities Markets Law 2” in English and Visiting Associate Professor Shirai taught “Comparative Securities Markets Law 2.”

(3) FY2012

Sadakazu Osaki was invited from Nomura Research Institute as a visiting professor, and research and education activities were conducted. During the summer term, Professor Hideki Kanda taught “Global Securities Markets Law 1” in English and Professor Hiroyuki Kansaku taught “Comparative Securities Markets Law.” During the summer term, Visiting Professor Osaki taught “Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” as a joint course with the School of Legal and Political Studies and the Graduate School of Public Policy.

During the winter term, Visiting Professor Osaki taught “Global Securities Markets Law 2” in English.

(4) FY2013

During the winter term, Visiting Professor Osaki taught “Issues in Securities Markets Law” in English.

(6) FY2015

Sadakazu Osaki was invited from Nomura Research Institute as a visiting professor, and research and education activities were conducted. During the summer term, Professor Hiroyuki Kansaku taught “Comparative Securities Markets Law.” During the summer term, Visiting Professor Osaki taught “Financial Instruments and Exchange Act” as a joint course with the School of Legal and Political Studies and the Graduate School of Public Policy.

During the winter term, Visiting Professor Osaki taught “Issues in Securities Markets Law.”

Also during the winter term, Professor Kanda taught the practicum “Corporate Law and Mathematics” as a joint course with the School of Legal and Political Studies.
